GUYS!!! SHERLOCKIANS
timetravelwithcamelotsdetective:
There is an article in the Daily Express today, that has an interview with Benny. He’s said it is highly likely that Series 3 will be the LAST EVER SERIES OF SHERLOCK because he and Martin are too busy filming the Hobbit and all their other stuff!!
This cannot be happening!!!
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to explain the feeling that just overcame me.
It’s the Daily Express though…
Also, source? D:
Oh, for…
Learn to read, people! I’m assuming the article referred to is this one. Allow me to read out a few quotations.
However, with both Cumberbatch, 36, and Freeman, 41 today, now enjoying flourishing film careers, there are no plans for further episodes beyond that, with insiders admitting that the forthcoming series is likely to be the actors’ final outing in the famous roles.
“Benedict and Martin love Sherlock. It’s been fabulous for both of them but it’s a question of schedules,” we are told.“With ‘insiders’ admitting that the forthcoming series is likely to be the actors’ final outing in the famous roles”. Insiders. Who, for all we know, are a couple of people who work on the sound systems. Furthermore, this is the show that Martin Freeman was willing to sacrifice a role as Bilbo Fucking Baggins in order to hang on to. But wait, there’s more! So what does Mr. Cumberbatch himself say about this?
Now he can keep the Sherlock writers on their toes, he claims mischievously.
“I need to have some more talks with them and tease them about the fact that I do have a career outside of Sherlock now, so they’d better write something.”Now I’m not in the tv-making business, but what I get from that is that he has a tremendously thriving career outside of Sherlock and he that he can hardly be expected to sit around waiting for Moffat and Gatiss to decide that the time is right for another round of running ‘round the streets of London. If they want to continue with the show, they should probably try pumping out scripts at something like a shedule. I imagine that would make sheduling other jobs a great deal easier for all involved.
And that’s that. Tumblr seems to be pretty good at reading between the lines of shit journalism, but this one time it seems to have failed.
^^ SEE GUYS.
xD
I didn’t have the link, couldn’t say one way or the other, but basically, until Moffat and Gatiss say it’s over, it’s not over.
